Roll call of Third Party IDX providers

Okay, so I’m curious about the third-party IDX companies everyone is using. I’d like to know who you use, who you’ve used? What you like and don’t like about them. I’d also be curious about those that you would like to use, but are not currently partnered with ARMLS.

I’m using Superlative. I’d like to use a map based IDX, however, it’s my understanding that as an agent, we must use the IDX created/approved by our broker. For Realty Executives, that’s Superlative. Anything else I may/want to use, puts me on the rogue agent list…not something I’m keen to do.

I use Killer IDX. Their customer support stinks. I’m now on my third week just trying to get them to change the brokerage info at the bottom of my IDX search page. It’s utterly ridiculous.
I’d like to be able to use 1ParkPlace, but they don’t play with our current MLS (or more accurately, or current MLS doesn’t play with them).
Steve - Superlative is a very limited choice. I had a Superlative site for a year — horrible for even fundamental SEO.

Jay, I agree with the horrible SEO of a vanilla Superlative site. The new TeamBelt.com and RealPhoenixLiving.com are only using an iframe from Superlative for the IDX as a result.
Again, it’s my understanding that I have no choice in IDX, if I want to be in compliance with brokerage rules…it’s either Superlative or nothing.

Steve - as a newly minted broker looking for a few exceptional agents, I could respond with “find a new broker”.
But I won’t.

As the owner of my own office, with 11 Executives at my branch, within the #1 brokerage in the Valley, I could solicit a small mom-and-pop to join the big boys…but I won’t
Honestly, until about 1 year ago, most clients I asked said they looked for homes on one of only 2 places: AZCentral.com or SearchHomes.com
The latter uses a Superlative IDX for my broker, so that was always encouraging, and the former had an IDX I found inferior to the Superlative IDX. In the last year, however, the #1 answer has changed to ZipRealty.com, because of the map based search they have there.

Craig-
ARMLS has recently entered into agreements and licensed iHomefinder.com, HouseValues.com(Market Leader and Home Pages products), Selliken Systems (Homequest product) and 1parkplace.com. We are in discussions with Wolfnet Technologies, Top Producer, Diverse Solutions, Agile Agent, Marketlinx (Agent Achieve), VoicePad.com, TrackRE.com,Dominion (several products), MLXjet and probably a couple more I’m forgetting. Feel free to contact any of the vendors. They enjoy the same license as Success Web Systems and Superlative. Very soon, ARMLS will update the 3rd Party section of ARMLS.com to include contact information for each of the licensed vendors.

I just go 1ParkPlace. I’m in the process of learning its ins and outs before placing it on my sites.

Brian, I’m thrilled the new agreements are being crafted. Having options is important, and I’m able to better plan for the migration to FlexMLS as a result. Thanks for your efforts.

I’m absolutely thrilled with the map-based IDX search provided by Diverse Solutions that we recently implemented.

I use an upgraded version (map search) of what WolfNet Technologies provides and love it. The basic version is also a huge improvement over what the Austin Board provides. It is simple and user-friendly. My repeat visitors traffic went up quite a bit after implementing WolfNet.

I use 1parkplace and Diverse Solutions product on our websites. I consumers like both. We will be moving to one over the other in the near future.

I have been looking at Realty Generator a branch of Market Leader. Does anyone have any experience with this one. They handle the Google advertising for the agents.
