This is a copy of my celebratory post from BloodhoundBlog:
This is strictly local news, but I can’t stop myself from rejoicing:What this means is that Michael Wurzer, whom we all know and revere, has volunteered to be devoured by savage Bloodhounds.
No, that’s not it. What it means is that we are about to get an MLS vendor who is willing to listen to us, and who very earnestly wants to do his very best — not just because it will mean more business for his company but simply because he is internally committed to doing his very best.
To this, there is but one word that expresses the proper reaction: Hallelujah!
The Epicentrics are already talking about building a group blog for this transition, so that we can help take away the fear of change as well as explore all the exciting new capabilities we stand to gain.
Michael plans to blog the transition from FBS Blog, and I know Cathy, Russell and I will be talking about it here. This could be the most-blogged-about software installation in the history of wired real estate.
My response to Michael’s post this morning: “NOW Iām interested in being involved.”
The Phoenix Real Estate Technology Exchange is the new weblog discussed in that post. In the coming months, this site will explore, explain, extend and, we hope, exterminate your fears of the change we are undergoing in our MLS system.
Dig in and root around. We’ll be adding content as quickly as we can. And: If you’re a technologically adept real estate professional in the Phoenix area, feel free to volunteer to help out. FBS Systems is going to bring a lot of new power to ARMLS Realtors, and we can help amplify that impact.

[...] Welcome! This weblog exists to document, explore, explain and alleviate any fears ARMLS members may have about the pending transition from the Tempo MLS system to FBS Systems’ flexmls system. The contributors are among the most tech-savvy real estate professionals in Phoenix. In consequence, we’re totally stoked about the change, first because some of us have come to hate Tempo over the years, and second because FBS is run by people who are deeply connected to the Web 2.0 on-line world.
